Management Agents

Installing Management Agents

To manage and monitor Veeam backup agents, Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam ONE, and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 within your company's infrastructure, you must install VSPC management agents on the machines hosting managed Veeam products and configure these agents to communicate with VSPC. Agents are available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

You can also use management agents installed on Windows and Linux machines as master agents for discovery within your company's infrastructure.

To perform this task, a user must be assigned one of the following roles: Company Owner, Company Administrator, or Location Administrator.

Once the VSPC agent installation is complete, the managed machines will be listed under the Discovered Computers tab.
